Hello Everyone,
As the seasons change, I’m reminded of how I both look forward to the next one and wish the last one could stay longer—especially summer! Season changes are a part of life, and even if we live in places where seasons don’t change as dramatically, we are aware on a deeper level that change is afoot.
Summer into fall is a transition that often brings up the themes of letting go and new beginnings. Many of my clients and friends are sending children off to college, which captures a potent snapshot of the depth of this transition. Whatever you might be experiencing, it is a perfect time to reflect upon what you are letting go of and what you are beginning.
The Soul’s Dream will be moving into its fifth year this fall, and it feels like quite a milestone in its evolution. I have been guiding the Soul’s Dream Mandala tours and tele-classes for four years now, and have learned so much about awakening the power and presence of our Spirit, Heart, Mind, and Body intelligences, or the Whole IQ, from the many travelers who have taken the journey and training the Apprentice Guides.
From this point on, however, I will only be guiding a select number of Mandala tours and tele-classes. I’m turning my attention this fall to completing and publishing my next book and the offering I’ve grown to be most passionate about: the Soul’s Dream Seminar. This power packed, in-person course awakens participants to using their Whole IQ to create their lives, generate strong personal and professional partnerships, and gives them resources for extricating their minds from the limiting beliefs of the Con Artist. Over the next year, I’ll be doing a few public Soul’s Dream Seminars, and primarily focusing on inspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders
in organizations to create wisdom cultures whereby their presence of wholeness and clarity create environments that foster integrity, generosity, and innovation at home and at work.
The Buddhist scholar and environmental activist, Joanna Macy, talks about the cultural transition that we are experiencing as the “Great Turning” initiative. This means that we are moving from being an industrial growth society to a life-sustaining civilization. If we are to become a life-sustaining civilization, it begins with the presence of great leadership and remembering that the impact of our being every day is as important, if not more so, as checking off the items on our to-do list each day.
When Oprah interviewed Jane Fonda last year, they talked about how wholeness was so much better than being perfect. They encouraged the audience to answer this question: How can I become more whole rather than striving to be perfect? In wholeness, we become love, and in separation we become fear. Any pattern that drives us to stress is a pattern that separates us from our Soul and the World Soul.
I’ve had the privilege of working with entrepreneurs and business leaders over the last several years that have blown me away with their passion and commitment to grow. I want to honor two of them in this newsletter who are outstanding in their devotion to serve from their hearts and leave the world a better place. I hope to see you at in one of the Fall offerings listed below. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Here’s to being a part of the Great Turning, and keeping the light of your Soul alive with meaning and passion~
